“Man violates the laws of nature — that’s what’s wrong”

All climate change is dangerous to humans in one way or another. For example, in the last two years we have seen obvious temperature fluctuations and abnormal heat waves for some regions, forest fires, destruction of landscape and animal habitats and so on.

This is directly linked to urbanisation, which demands more and more resources for its maintenance and the needs of its inhabitants, to the development of transport interchanges and the increasing numbers of vehicles and the fuel, oil and tyres they consume, to technogenic pollution, to cheap and harmful technologies that enable cheap goods, works and services to be produced.

Man violates the laws of nature a priori. This is a great danger. And it is important to understand where the line must not be crossed. In some situations, the laws of nature, which are really the laws of physics, chemistry and biology, help to minimise the consequences of human actions. For example, in the two months of the pandemic, there was a significant reduction in air emissions, including through shutting down industries or reducing their modes of operation.
