“The progress of sustainable business is in the heads of managers”

The main limitation that prevents a business from being sustainable is in the minds of many executives — not everyone has made sustainability a value component of their world view.

This is due to the prevailing attitude to evaluate any business process or initiative solely in terms of money. If efficiency is assessed only in financial terms, the output is unlikely to be sustainable production, social or environmental well-being.

If, however, investment and management decisions take into account not only financial metrics, but also social and environmental responsibility factors, it will enable businesses to make faster progress towards sustainable development.

Therefore, along with new technologies, it is necessary to introduce sustainable thinking and to build a relevant corporate culture, which is what we are doing in our assets, starting from the boards of directors all the way up to the line personnel.
