Almost all of the existing sustainable development goals are now a priority for Russia. Of course, there are separate goals related to food security, with which Russia is doing well. But such areas as education, energy, industrialization, sustainable cities, preservation of ecosystems remain relevant.

Sustainable development goals are good because, among them, there are higher priority goals that need to be implemented right now, and there are more distant ones. In times of sanctions, unfortunately, the deadlines for achieving some of them may be pushed back, given the departure of major foreign companies, sanctions on imports of advanced technologies, and a lack of investment in the country.

But, as our President correctly said, Russia has been sitting on the needle of imports for too long, including technological ones, so, in particular, the development of the best available technologies should be accelerated.
