The economic sanctions imposed on Russia this year put out a serious threat to the development of sustainable architecture in our country.

Russia has already suspended international certification and auditors are starting to have their licences revoked. In addition, the Russian construction industry is heavily dependent on imports, especially in the category of finishing materials. Undoubtedly, companies will look for their replacement — a variety of domestic analogues. But, as practice shows, analogues are always more expensive than the original and usually inferior in quality.
