“Cooperation with the West on climate has been halted, but there is an East”

To stop global warming requires the efforts of all humanity. Our country has joined the Paris climate agreement and we had a programme to achieve climate neutrality. I hope we will move consistently towards this goal.

Unfortunately, active cooperation with Western countries has stopped. There are no active actions, joint programmes and projects now. But the world is a big place, and we can cooperate in this direction with Eastern countries that are now actively developing their climate agenda.

For example, China, like Russia, has a goal of achieving climate neutrality by 2060. In the Middle East, too, all these countries have climate goals, and are moving towards them. We will actively cooperate with these countries.
