Considering its climate and abundant hydrocarbon reserves, Russia has specific green standards that are reflected in its architecture certification system. Each national certification system is tailored to the natural, economic and social conditions of the country.

Russia also has its own green building certification system and even more than one. In total, there are more than 100 of them in the world. Some of them are in demand in different states and become international, but in any case they are adapted to the realities of each particular country.
